Let’s prepare for a nice oriental evening with good company, music and especially delicious food that will take you away from your home for a while. We have prepared a special recipe for butter chicken, or Indian butter chicken, which will delight everyone with its taste! Fresh ingredients, perfect flavours and a huge dose of protein. Ingredients:
- 350 g chicken breast
- 100 g Greek yogurt
- 2 garlic cloves
- a piece of ginger (about 2 cm)
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- lime juice from ½ of lime
- ground black pepper
Sauce ingredients:
- 1 can of sliced tomatoes (420 g)
- 200 g strained tomatoes
- 100 ml of 12% cooking cream
- 1 big onion
- 2-3 tbsp butter
- 1 clove of garlic
- a piece of ginger (about 2 cm)
- 2 tsp garam masala
- cane sugar
- lime juice
- salt and ground black pepper
- olive oil spray

Directions:
First, prepare a marinade for meat. Cut the chicken breasts into big cubes and mix them with Greek yogurt, lime juice, turmeric, garam masala, ground black pepper and finely chopped ginger and garlic. Let the meat marinate like this for at least an hour. In the meantime, prepare the sauce. Fry finely chopped onion in olive oil until golden. Next, add finely chopped garlic, ginger and garam masala. Briefly fry everything together and then add sliced and strained tomatoes. Cook the sauce at low temperature for about 10 minutes, set aside and mix until creamy.
Fry the marinated meat briefly in oil. Pour the sauce over the meat and cook everything together for about 10 minutes. Add cream and season the sauce with salt, sugar, spices and lime juice. Set aside and finally mix in the butter. Serve butter chicken with rice, garnished with parsley or coriander. Enjoy your meal!
