Can’t you imagine a day without sweet breakfast? If pancakes or waffles cannot be missed on your table, then you will surely love our autumn recipe for delicious pumpkin crumpets full of protein and natural ingredients. It only takes a few minutes to prepare them. Now, let’s do it!
Ingredients for crumpets:
- 70 ml of milk
- 60 g pumpkin puree
- 40 g wholemeal spelt flour
- 25 g Just Whey protein with white chocolate coconut flavour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- coconut oil in spray
- fruit for decoration
Ingredients for cream:
- 10 g peanut butter
- 10 g pumpkin puree
- 10 g agave syrup
- water for dilution

Procedure:
First of all, mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add egg, pumpkin puree and milk to the mixture. Mix everything together and start baking. Spray the heated pan with coconut spray, and pour a small scoop of dough onto it. Roast crumpets in a pan from each side until gets golden brown colour, approx. 2 minutes.
To make a cream as a topping for crumpets, mix 100 % peanut butter with pumpkin purée and agave syrup. To dilute the mass, gradually add water to it until a smooth and creamy consistency is achieved. Pumpkin crumpets served still warm with cream and fruit. Bon appetite!
