Fitness Recipe: Pasta with Tuna and Tomato Sauce

How about a recipe for a delicious dish that has less than 300 kcal, great taste, high protein content, and is ready in ten minutes? It’s ideal for those days when you’re in a rush and want to treat yourself to a good meal. Thanks to the fact that we used ZERO pasta, even fans of low-carb meals can enjoy this treat. However, if you don’t want to deprive yourself of carbs, you can swap the low-carb alternative for classic spaghetti.

Method:

Take a frying pan and spray it with oil spray. First, drain the water from the tuna and sauté it in the pan with the spices (dried garlic, dried onion, pepper, basil). If you don’t have dried garlic and onion, you can use fresh ones. Once the flavours have combined, add the tomato paste to the pan and let simmer for a while.

Rinse the BIO ZERO Fettucine under warm water and mix directly in the pan with the tomato sauce and tuna. Simmer everything together briefly to combine the flavours. Serve the pasta garnished with chopped cherry tomatoes and any herbs you like. We used watercress, but parsley, basil or oregano would also taste great.

Our tip: If you want to increase the caloric value of the dish or if ZERO Fettucine is not your favourite, you can use classic pasta or a legume alternative.
