That’s why today we have come up with a recipe for a lemon butter cod served with crispy potatoes and sautéed vegetables. This recipe is perfect for people who pay attention to their weight and care about their health. Apart from a delicious flavour, it contains loads of protein and omega-3 fatty acids, which have a positive impact on heart and brain function! Let’s dive into it!
Ingredients:
- 400 g Alaskan cod
- 30 g butter
- 3 garlic cloves
- half handful of fresh herbs (oregano, parsley leaves…)
- lemon juice from ½ lemon
- 2 tsp. fish seasoning
- salt and ground black pepper
- olive oil spray

Directions:
Wash the cod, dry it well with a tissue paper, and season it with fish seasoning, ground black pepper and salt from both sides. Sauté the fish from both sides for about 4 minutes (depends on how thick your fish is) on the pan sprayed with olive oil. While the fish is sautéing, mix the melted butter with lemon juice and thin garlic slices. Pour this butter sauce onto the pan when the fish is half done. When the fish is well done, remove it from the stove and sprinkle it with fresh herbs. Serve the fish with with roast potatoes, vegetables, and butter sauce. Enjoy!
