There are never enough recipes for spreads. This one even has the advantage that vegans can enjoy it too. Tofu and sun-dried tomatoes form the base, creating a flavourful combination. It is then made perfect with ketchup, spices and your favourite herbs. You’ll find that you’ll love eating it for breakfast, snacks or as a dip with vegetables.
Ingredients:

- 3 tablespoons ketchup sweetened with stevia

Method:
Place the sun-dried tomatoes in water for ten minutes to soften.
You can also use sun-dried tomatoes in oil, as they do not need to be placed in water, they can be used straight away. However, this will increase the energy value of the spread. Take the prepared tomatoes out of the liquid and put them in a blender. Add all the other ingredients, i.e. the chopped tofu (drain it from the brine and dry with a paper towel), ketchup, oregano, pepper, smoked paprika, dried garlic, chilli and salt.
Blend everything until a smooth cream. And you’re done. Spread it on bread and garnish with your favourite herbs.
