How does it work?
- Once you receive your test kit after purchase, create a user account on the tellmeGen website. Then register your test using the registration code found on the tube included in the test kit.
- After registration, a DHL code will typically be generated in your tellmeGen customer account. Please ignore this code, as you won’t need it when sending the sample.
- Keep in mind that for about 30 minutes before collecting your sample, you should avoid eating, drinking, smoking, chewing gum, or brushing your teeth.
- Carefully open the packaging and remove the swab. Make sure not to touch the white part of the swab with your fingers.
- Insert the swab into your mouth and thoroughly rub it against the inside of your cheek or under your upper or lower lip. Rub the inside of your cheek for at least one minute or a minimum of 20 seconds.
- Place the swab into the drying pouch. First, insert the white part without touching it.
- Fold the drying pouch along the crease line with the clear side facing inward. Seal it using the provided white sticker with the barcode.
- We will collect your sample free of charge through a courier service once you contact our customer support line at +49 30 41736909 to arrange a pickup time. Please contact customer support as soon as possible, ideally on the same day or the day after performing the test according to the instructions. The sample should be collected within 7 days of the test to ensure proper evaluation.
- Your sample will be professionally analysed in an accredited laboratory. From the moment your sample is sent, the average processing time for results is 4 to 6 weeks, depending on factors such as delivery time to the lab.
- Once your sample has been analysed, you will receive a notification by email. You can find your results by logging into your online customer account on the manufacturer’s website.
