Melatonin is a source of the neurohormone melatonin in tablet form. The body naturally produces melatonin in the brain from tryptophan. Melatonin production in the body starts when darkness is observed and stops during the day with daylight. It is useful for reducing the time needed to fall asleep and also helps to alleviate subjective feelings after travelling by plane (jet lag). By taking melatonin, you will supplement its level in the body and you will receive 1 mg of melatonin in a serving.
