Vitamin D 1000 IU are vegan capsules containing vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol). For its adequate intake, the sun’s UVB rays have to hit a person’s skin and then a number of processes inside the tissue start making vitamin D for the body to use. From autumn to spring, when we wear more clothes and spend more time indoors, the skin is less exposed to the sun's rays, so we need to focus on the intake of vitamin D from food or supplements. Vitamin D plays an important role in our body, because it contributes to the normal function of the immune system and muscles, to the health of bones and teeth, and helps with the optimal absorption of calcium and phosphorus.
Rice flour, hypromellose (cellulose capsule), magnesium stearate (plant source), silicon oxide.
Take 1 capsule daily with food.
