BIO Japanese Matcha Powder is made by grinding green tea leaves. By adding milk, it can be made into a tasty and nutritious drink, or it can be used to enrich salty or sweet dishes. It has a beautiful green colour, making it a suitable ingredient for various desserts.
BIO Japanese Matcha Powder comes from the green tea plant (Camellia sinensis). It differs from classic green tea in the way it is grown and processed. Before harvesting, the plant is protected from sunlight for several days.
Matcha will surprise you with its fresh green colour, taste and aroma. Its mild bitter-sweet taste and interesting earthy aroma make drinking it a truly pleasant experience. You can prepare it just like tea by pouring it with hot water, for example. However, it is usually drunk combined with milk, for example in the form of matcha latte, which can serve as a substitute for coffee. You can also use it to prepare various cocktails. The taste of the resulting drink depends on your preferences – you can enjoy the natural taste of matcha or sweeten it with e.g. erythritol, honey or any other sweetener. However, if you do not like drinking matcha, you can still adding it to various desserts, crêpes, pancakes, dressings or other sweet or salty recipes. Matcha will give those dishes an original green colour, which will impress people at any social event.

Mix 1 teaspoon (5 g) of matcha powder with 200 ml of cold or warm water.
